We rarely do

Supper! We rarely do supper!

After our evening grocery haul, we were hungry and thirsty so we crossed the road to this food court for a supper. It was slightly after 8pm and the place was quite packed but there was few vacant tables around.

Hubby has been craving for this delicious fried kuaw tiaw since that day he tasted it for the first time. Lol. So without second thought, he ordered himself a plate of fried kuaw tiaw. He simply loved this.

The kids shared this yummy kolo mee as it was quite a portion and both were not that hungry.

And when my order arrived, Jamie was so excited and could not wait to dig into this grilled satay.

Jamie ate quite few sticks of this pork satay. I ordered 10 sticks (RM0.60 per stick) and a piece of ketupat (RM0.50).

The pork satay was good. Still juicy and tender. Not dry at all. I love it!

And the peanut sauce was good too. Spicy for my tongue but I enjoyed it with the plain ketupat.

Yes...I rarely have supper with my kids too. Probably due to how I were brought up. We sleep quite early during the weekdays and eating anything after 9pm is considered not good.Hahah..but there is an exception in some occasions.

Oooo, I see satay! I like lamb.. I like the "sou" smell, nice.. But I also like chicken sometimes, if they are sweet & sticky..

I love this kind of lifestyle. Normally I would only have supper when I'm back Ipoh with my parents and siblings but occasionally, I would love to bring my girlfriend to hunt for supper as well....although I think we don't usually consider 8pm as supper. Haha!! My definition of supper is usually closer to 10 or 11pm....sometimes, if we finished work late, we might even have to take our dinner at bout 8 or 9pm. Anyway, it's refreshing to read your post and see so many delicious looking food...make me feel hungry even as I continue reading my book.

Not me. I couldnt sleep with full tummy. The kids slept before 10pm as next day was a school day.
