Same stall

Hubby and I went to this place not long ago for the Kueh Chap but it wasn't opened.

We thought we were early or anything but upon inquiry, the kueh chap guy didn't opened due to leg injury. And their off day is every Tuesday. Anyway, we decided to settle our breakfast there since there were other stalls opened. For instance, this stall.

This Sarawak laksa and Mee Jawa stall was operated by a couple, non-Chinese. I tried their laksa once and it was good. So I decided to take their laksa.

Normal Sarawak laksa for me. It was RM7 per bowl. I was not so crazy about the special or the laksa ambal (laksa with bamboo clams) that they had. Just the normal, traditional Sarawak laksa for me.

Taste-wise, it was nice as I remember it to be. Not too spicy yet the broth was flavourful. Ingredients were fresh. Quite a big portion for RM7.

My man went for the Mee Jawa saying (RM6). It was alright according to him. Not the best, but it was acceptable.

The business at this food court was good. Have picked up since MCO. Good that it has survived the tough days.

Rm 7 seems like quite a good deal for that portion.

I also love Mee Jawa very much and could not find good ones in KL. Have to go to Penang where many Mee Jawa are excellent.
Wanna hear a joke? I went to Jawa in Indonesia and could not find any Mee Jawa there at all. The folks there had never seen or heard of this!! I wanna blog about this next time.
