My girlfriend suggested to go here as she heard so much about the food here especially its Mee Brunei, a soupy beef noodle. The first time I heard of this noodle was from Azura. This was how Mee Brunei looked like.

Ironically we both ended up eating something else other than the Mee Brunei.
This Kantin Koperasi Muzium Sarawak is in the vicinity of the museum. You would be able to see it on your left hand side going up the hill to the main museum. Situated next to Merdeka Palace Hotel.
Mee Jawa daging RM6
My friend had its Mee Jawa daging. First impression, small portion. Hardly could see the sliced beef at all. She did not like the sweetness of the gravy. Too sweet to her liking.
Nasi goreng sotong RM7
I tried the nasi goreng sotong (fried rice with squid). Very kampung taste. Tasted alright to me. But I thought it was overly priced for a small serving!
The place was packed although it was around 10am. Looked like everyone was having their brunches there even it was a work day.
Most people ordered their Mee Brunei. I peeked on other table, the Mee Brunei was big! Not sure I would be coming here again.
One thing, hard to find parking in the vicinity of the museum.

Oh? It wasn't there before, must go and try one day!
Maybe also school holiday, that's why 10am on a work day, also many people...
Heard so much about the mee brunei there, but still have not try it yet.
Next time you must try the mee Brunei. It looks good :)
Why did both of you change your minds and did not try the mee brunei?
We asked the waitress and she told us it was sweet. Neither of us like sweet soup so we did not dare to order.
First time heard of Mee Brunei
I also would love to try the Me Brunei.
