It was last Tuesday. Nice and cold morning as it rained the night before. Hubby and I were up early that morning, so we had a breakfast day in our usual coffee shop. Y. Y. Cafe.
Our breakfast choice was these noodles from the fried stall.
I love the tomato crispy noodle from this stall. Never fail to impress my tastebuds.
This plate of fried noodle in egg gravy was my hubby's breakfast; his favourite from this stall. He loves the wok hei of the noodle.
The kueh stall started to opened when we were about to leave. I managed to buy 2 ham chee peng from the stall. My snack later in the afternoon.

I like both noodles but I only can eat one quarter of each else need to stuff to finish all. Your post reminded me that I have yet to eat wat tan hor.
How early did you both go to this y.y.cafe? 7 am or 6.30 am?
Slightly before 7am.
yummy warm noodles on a cold morning....I like!
Wah, that is early.
I like the noodles you ordered, something different from here...
I haven't come across tomato crispy noodle here in Ipoh. My hubby likes egg gravy noodle too.
Ham chee peng is my favorite hee..hee..I have yet to taste tomato scripsy noodles. I am sure I would like it.
All the noodles look creamy and nice
Long time did not eat ham chee peng. Have to go to maxwell market to buy to taste it. I prefer the savory one than the sweet one.
