It has been very warm recently, so I cooked some mung bean soup for dessert.
And even bought some kiwi fruits. RM10 for 5! I know, very expensive. Remember during my college days, it was only 90cents each!
The kids got drawing and colouring lesson from their dad. Beaches are too far to go here, but nothing stopped them from some imagination.
I never like this time of the year. Very warm!
Btw, my yam plants are growing very big at the back. Have been trying to kill them but they survived. Pesticide, herbicide, weed killer or Coke, you named them, I have been using to poison the plants. How to kill them??

Pull them out ??
The weather's cool over here - been raining everyday. Happy lunching, Rose! I assume you're about to have your makan ^.^
Maybe, Chris. Need to unroot them but sure a hard work as the plant is very tall.
Just had ayam penyet. Hehe
I tried the one you had for lunch - let's say I'd rather stick to the one at Bandong.
Kiwi's not a favourite of mine - I love avocado...but at around RM10 each, I'd rather not eat.
It rains here everyday, weather is kinda chilly, I opt for something warm ;)
And I notice you have remove the word verification! Hehe, thank you so much!
Yes, Kiwis are expensive here too.. I just saw RM10 for 3.. I think they must be those yellow ones.. terribly expensive! So I bought bananas instead.. :)
Ya, kiwi very expensive...
I like your mung-bean tongsui.. Yummzz.. I seldom eat kiwis, mahal ma, kekeke.. Normally bananas or apples..
Mung bean soup sounds lovely. And I like that picture of the palm tree!
I like to eat mung bean dessert tong sui. My mother used to cook it with seaweed.
I have seen garden centerd selling this big yam plant. You can dig it up carefully and pot them to sell. Yours are really big!
