On a rainy Friday evening, we stopped by this place for our dinner. Our first time here and it was rather surprising to find a cafe at the back of a deserted lane in Jalan Laichee. I guess, those in Sibu would know this place well. They are known as noodle specialist, I heard but we did not come for the noodle that night.
And also its mille crepe is famous too, but we were too full from our food,, we did not have much space left in our tummies to eat crepe. We leave it for another day.

In Noodle House, we would find varities of local food, such as kampua, kompia, laksa to Western dishes and desserts. A fusion cafe, where you can enjoy good food with reasonable price in a cozy cafe ambience. But I was complaining that the place was rather dimly lighted, so as you can see, my food photos are not so clear.
I liked its yummy chicken soup (RM8.50), and my kids enjoyed its warm soup.
I were attacking its sizzling spare rib glazed with honey (RM24.80), that come with wedges, corn cob and peas. For those on first date, this dish is not recommended. Hard to use fork and knife to go through the rib. Better to use hands to rip off the rib to eat those meaty part in between the bones.
We like their buttery toast. Kaya & butter toast at RM3.50.
And its dry fried dumplings too; not oily at all. RM9.20 for 6 pieces.
The baked rice with cheesy pork chop (RM14.90) was great too. Better than other places we tasted in Sibu, I had to say.
An enjoyable dinner irregardless of the cooling weather outside. Bill just came less than RM85.00.

dumplings, my favourite...
Some nice stuff there - the kompia, the desserts, kueh chap is good too. Didn't know you've never been here, could have met you here earlier.
Everything looks super delicious to me.. ^.^
I love that chicken soup, must be very nutritious!
Now I am hungry...time to go home for dinner! There is one Noodle House in Ipoh too but not sure franchise or not..
Food looks good. Long time I never eat cheesy rice with pork chop.
Wish I had that bowl of chicken soup to eat right now!
Wow the cheesy rice with pork chop macam sedap!
Haha, very funny you said those on first date not recommended to eat the ribs, true also, very "chou lou" if eat with hands and tear the meat with teeth, haha.. But I guess on first dates, couples will choose more "safe" and "polite" food, like fish & chips, senang to eat ma, hehe..
I think I will love the chicken soup ! Looks so good.
