Our 2nd destination in Thailand holiday is Pattaya. We checked out from Berkeley Hotel on Tuesday noon and started our 2 hours drive to Pattaya at 12.30pm.
We were too hungry after we checked into Sabai Resort Pattaya, so we ventured out to find food. Our first meal in Pattaya was pork burger from McDonald's which was a few minutes walk from Sabai. I ordered Samurai Pork Burger with sweet sauce and come with fries and Coke (THB172) while hubby had its Double Cheese Pork Burger set (THB175).
My Samurai Pork Burger
With full stomach, we ventured down the road and looked around. Pattaya is indeed a place with night lives, everything starts in the evening. Hubby was enjoying himself so much. With beers and alcohol!
During the morning, there were hardly restaurants or cafes open, other than few hawkers pulling or cycling their carts selling food. Unlike Bangkok where local foods are easily accessible, we did not find any within the vicinity of our resort hotel. But I have to say that Sabai Resort is a good location; which is just opposite Tune.com hotel, and Big C superstore is a stone throw away. The beach is just opposite the resort hotel, which is about 10 minutes walk away.
We walked for almost 30 minutes before we came to this place!! Yes, Tiffany!!
We bought our tickets (THB700) for 2nd row seat. Still could not believe that I was going to watch the famous Tiffany's show. The world's famous transvestite show. Woo hoo!
But our show was 9pm and we still have few hours to spare. And we saw the shooting range in Tiffany so hubby could not resist trying his hand on the real gun. Yes! A real gun. Hubby chose .45mm. First time holding a real gun, so he could not choose the bigger .9mm. I did not try it out myself. And wow! The bullets sure are real. And not to mention the bang sound the gun made. Luckily we wore ear gear but still, the sound was deafening even with the ear gear put on.
Hubby was pretty good in his first shooting experience. He hit 7 out of 10!
In the evening, we walked over to Tiffany's to catch the 9pm show. Just around 10 minutes walk to Tiffany's.
Posing in Tiffany's
Tiffany's mansion at night was pretty magnificent compared during the day. Inside was equally grand.
The theatre is on the upper floor, and when we reached the upper floor there was so many people. Mostly European and the ladies are dressed up for the show. Luckily I did too. *wink* How many chance do we have to dress up and watch a Tiffany's show huh? Lol!
So the show started slightly late but it was an entertaining 1.5 hours show. I actually enjoying the show. No photo taking is allowed after the introduction performance but we bought the DVD at THB700 as souvenir.
And after the show, we took photos with the ladyboys. Mostly can speak Chinese. So hubby and I were been ambushed by them. Why not? We need to tip the ladyboys after each photo session. *wink*
