Breakfast with mum

Missed the time when I were working in the city centre and able to enjoy nice local food there. One of the coffee shops that I frequent is this place.

The best kueh chap and char kueh could be found here.

Once a week, I would pick up my mum and we have mother-daughter bonding time together. We have breakfast and then to wet market or sometimes shopping in shopping mall.

Last week, we came to Woon Lam Cafe for breakfast.

RM6.00 kueh chap

Both of us love the kueh chap with its chunky meat. The meat was thickly sliced and they are very generous with the kueh and meats. Soup was milder so it fits me well.

We also have this fried-to-perfection char kueh for share. Love the generous amount of radish in it and the crispy rice cakes. Could not stop eating them!

RM3.00 char kueh

Price may have increased over the years and portion may be slightly less than before but taste-wise they still as good and worth your money.

I love kueh chap and char kueh, but my favourite is char kueh especially with lots of radish and taugeh.

Been there, not impressed by what I had...even though people say the kolo mee is nice. Will go for what you had next time - near the hotel where I stayed...

Good that you have regular mother-daughter bonding makan session. I like to eat kueh chap, can't easily find any in KL. Looks very tasty!
