Grab & Go

A grab & go corner in my coffee shop where we have something light for customers to enjoy.

Mini buns from matcha cheese to Mexico coffee and buttermilk, these buns are soft and tasty. Reasonably priced from RM3.30 to RM8. 

Besides buns, we also have pork curry puffs. Both are from same supplier. I love the crispy skin, the filling was pretty good, not too spicy.

Off day

It is my off day today. Breakfast dine out this morning with my man and girl who is taking a week break from uni.

We went to this coffee shop as hubby was craving for its Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun. 

He preferred the prawns filling so he had that for his breakfast. RM18 for this plate. 

My girl ordered the ham and egg sandwich from thd next shop. In the past, no food is allowed to send over but now, they do so. Good for both coffee shops. 

The stall also served claypot noodle so I ordered one for myself. I always like the crispy noodle since I was a girl. Just need to watch out for your tongue. Don't get burnt from the hot soup!! 

Mixed and soaked the crispy noodle in the hot soup for a while before digging in. Taste wise it was mild and suit my taste buds. 

RM18.70 for 2 sandwich and 1 claypot noodle. 

Other than breakfast, I went to car accessories shop to fix my car remote controller and change a new brake light. I also arranged people to clean up my waste pipe at the shop. You wouldn't want to know how greasy and grossy detail after all the flushing and cleaning of thd pipe. Luckily I got reliable persons to get the work done yearly. 

I was catching up on Chinese dramas almost whole day. Yes, I am back to drama binging. A nice way to de-stress after a hard work at shop. 

Ok, got to check out now. Need to go back to my drama. *wink*

Last quarter

It is 1st October today! And wow, time really flies so fast this year.  That is how I feel. Last quarter of 2026; wonder how the day goes by so fast. 

Since this week, the API has been much better. Air quality in Kuching is at healthy level and we are having more rains especially in the afternoon and evening. Hope we wouldn't be experiencing the haze anytime soon. Even better, please go away, haze!! We are so looking forward to a better air quality for the remaining of 2026.

It was raining in the morning, so I had something warm for breakfast. Sarawak laksa! Of course in my coffee shop. Lol. 

This is what we have for dinner today. Hubby bought some lamb chops few days ago. So we cooked them up, just a simple grill on the pan. Lamb chops in brown sauce with some blanched vegetables. Riceless meal once in a while, a nice change from the usual dinner. 

The kids are having their exams this month. Jan and Jamie will have theirs next week. SPM will be starting end of this month. I am so anxious for Jay who will be sitting for his. Wishing all 2026 SPM candidates, all the best!!
