Landscape and lunch

Other than animals, we got to enjoy the the Mother's Nature, green landscape and plants that grow on the farm.

Savanna

Savanna is where we could enjoy the view of Gunung Serembu and a magnificent, tall Honey Bee tree.

Honey bee tree

Few trees grew on the farm. Some I don't know the name such as this tree (below) but the fruit is like rambutan.

I tasted few of the fruit at the canteen when a kind lady gave them to us to try.

In Farmer's Paradise, we got to enjoy the fruits and produces of the farm. No picking is allowed!

I got to see many pineapple plants...

Pepper too...

Durian trees...

Butterfly pea flower...

Scarecrow in paddy field but no paddy around..

It was after 11am when we reached the canteen named Tropical Farm Cafe. After 2 hours of walking around the green landscape and under the warm sun, it was time to get some rest and replenish ourselves.

Tropical Farm Cafe serves food, drinks, snacks, souvenirs and flavoured ice.

Not only that. They also sell produces from the farm such as these fruits.

They have few flavours for the shaved ice..

And we bought mango, soupsop and tamarind (asam boi) flavours.

For lunch, we all had nasi lemak with chicken wing (RM8.00). Probably we were famished, so we finished up our food.

We took almost an hour rest there before proceed with our itinerary.

That place looks like a good retreat to enjoy the greens of nature. I badly need a break like this.

Looks like lychee. There is a local hybrid now, it seems, lychee and longan. Nasi lemak looks good, so much sambal!

Arghh..what I'd give to join you here! I love jalan-jalan like these. To top it off with old-fashioned shaved ice is a beautiful end to a lovely adventure.
