Go away allergies

I mentioned before that as a baby, Jamie has  a very dry skin. He would scratch and most of the time, scratch till he bleed and leaving wounds on his legs, arms and hands.

I tried many products. They helped but did not solve or cure the problem. The problem comes and goes, on and off. He developed eczema as a baby but as he is growing up, it is more of a case of sensitive skin and allergies.

Consulted a GP recently when his allergies came back. Scratching here and there. Looking at him, my heart also break. Some nights he would wake up few times because of itchiness and do not get good sleep.

Doctor confirmed he has allergy but we would need to do a blood test to know the real cause of allergy.  I tried to steer away from egg and any allergy-induced food but unless we know what is the real cause, we wouldn't know.

This cream is for him to use as bath and also mosturiser.

For the affected area (the wound), I would apply this steriod cream.

How I wish his allergies would go away. Wish he is a healthy boy, with no problem. Wish he is like his older siblings with no skin problems. Alas, I could only wish and pray he would just get well as he is growing up.

Feel so sorry for Jamie especially when he can't sleep due to the itchiness. It pains our heart not knowing how to help him. Lately, I too develop some kind of rashes that took a long time to go away. I was scratching like crazy! Hope the blood test will reveal what is the cause of the allergy.

My girl also has this allergy problem, she has eczema on the joints especially where the sweat are.. so doc said got to keep them dry so that they won't be itchy, yes, the oily gel is good for dry skin.

Aqueous cream is good. You can also try Argan oil - I'm using it right now, best to avoid anything with steroids. He'll have a problem overseas, the skin gets dry and will itch like hell...and the moment you come home, it will be ok automatically.

Cheer up! Hopefully the doctor finds out the causes for allergy. I also have allergy to cat furs, worse when the cats are irritated then I will get sneezes and itchy eyes. Antihistamine works and recently read an article about lectranal. It's supposed to relieve allergies if taken long term. But it isn't patented yet so I'm doubting its claims. Maybe can consult your doctor if he has heard of it.

My heart aches seeing him with rashes. Maybe you like to check out Evening Primrose? It's great for Eczema! xoxo

Poor thing. Ethan was admitted last year for 5 days due to extreme bad rash too. We did allergy test and found out he is allegic to dust mite >_<

How on earth do we avoid dust mite is another matter. He also has a slight allergy to shell fish.

I hope nothing is too serious with Jamie.
