Xing Hua Mien

My SIL bought 2 packs of Xing Hua mihun and tinned clams this morning and decided to get next door coffee shop friend to fry for breakfast.  Remind me of the fried Xing Hua mihun in Kuching with taugeh, clams and eggs.  Missed the finer texture of Xing Hua mihun.

Our plate of Xing Hua Mihun with some sambal in it. Not bad. Dry and enough "wok hei".

I thought of STP when I saw the canned clams. Coz I remembered his post on clams+fried bihun too.

Nevermind about the wok-hei and all. It's home cooked. Still best in the world :)

Like Louiz, I also thought of STP cos of the clams too.. hahaha.. So far, I haven't tried this yet... over here, I have eaten fried mihun with fresh clams, that was in Klang, KL.. none in Ipoh yet..Anyway, the mihun looks great especially when you said got Wok Hei!

The mi hun certainly looks good. I would prefer this type of dry version compared to those wet version.

I have not seen this brand of mee hoon too. Looks so fine! Must be very tasty! How much does the shop charge you to fry these mee hoon?

They should use cangkuk manis but they only have Taugeh. And free of charge since we also passed some mihun to the coffee shop operator to eat. Sharing is caring. :)
