New diner

There is this new diner in Soho 188, Jalan Wan Alwi. A stone-throw away from my parents' house.

Adam's Diner.  Recently opened  and business hour is from 5pm to midnight.

Other than its catchy lighted signboard, this place is not that eye-catching at all. Do not expect those classy cafe or bistro interior and setting. My sis has been ranting on how good, tasty and big portion this place served, so I thought I must not miss this.

For our starter, we had this basket of cheesy wedges, which were alright. Nothing could go wrong with this starter. The wedges could be so addictive with the right dipping, don't you agree?

I decided to try its black pepper chicken chop. Not a disappointment when it came.  Quite a portion and they were pretty generous with the fries.  The black pepper sauce was over seasoned for my liking, but at least the meat was not so tough and dry.

Dad went for its Seafood Aglio Olio, which looked pretty good except the crab sticks.  I would prefer them to omit the crabsticks altogether.

Bro went for the grilled chicken spaghetti, which was surprisingly huge. He hardly could finished up his plate.

Price was reasonable for such huge serving; a true surprise on what you could find in such establishment.

My verdict?? A good run for your money.  I would not mind to come back to try out its other food on the menu.

You don't know kah? That is a branch of Anson in Sibu. You can check out their Facebook page. Is it as cheap there as here? And as terribly crowded?

Now I know!! Haha. Very crowded on weekends and service is slower. I gone there on weekday so at least it is alright.

Cheesy wedges always my favourite finger food. I wonder how much each of these dishes cost comparing to the western meals in KK.

Wow. I agree with you regarding the crab stick. They should just stick to natural seafood and not those processed ones. It's good enough without it anyway.

So how much does each plate cost?

I didnt memorise the price as my dad pay the tab. But it is competitive price.
