This was our third visit to this new food court on one Sunday. Each time, I tried different stalls, so I know what is good, what is not.
Big breakfast RM11
My man wanted Big Breakfast so he suggested to go to this food court since he had a nice experience with the Western breakfast stall in previous visit. This breakfast set was sure big and lasted him till noon.
Kolo mee RM5
My girl ordered kolo mee for herself. Somehow she wanted to have kolo mee that morning, not the Western breakfast.
Tomato crispy mee RM7
I spotted Siniawan Old Street Fried stall so went to check out it's menu. Many option but I chose tomato crispy mee. Not a good choice as I didn't finish the noodle. Not enough gravy to soak and soften the crispy noodle, so not enjoyable to me.
Oyster omelette RM15
Kolo mee takaway for the boys who were still sleeping when we left. And I ordered this oyster omelette from the Char Kueh stall. Not bad although I much prefer the crispy Kuching pancake but this omelette was acceptable for me.
Crispy noodles look nice though, the kolo Mee too. Char siew looks good. Big breakfast not really big but RM11 is very cheap!
ReplyDeleteI would love to try that oyster omelette!
ReplyDeleteWill your two boys look for you all if they woke up before you all get home? The big breakfast looks good.
ReplyDeleteThey will go to my room to see if we are in. But they used to it as it is our weekend routine. They know what to do. They will just get ready and watch TV while waiting for us to come back. Most of the times, it is the youngest that wake up first. When we reached home, he will open the door to welcome us. Lol.
DeleteWow! They are really big boys now.
DeleteCan see from your photo that the gravy is not enough to cover and soften your crispy noodles.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in Johor for two weeks, I took kolo mee three times and now back in Ipoh, I am missing that... it cost RM6 a packet in JB...
ReplyDeleteI went to this new food court too end of June with my family. Development in Kuching is really fast. Not going back Kuching for more than two years, suddenly popped up new development and the row of shops are many. Impressive.
ReplyDeleteI spotted the Siniawan Old Street fried stall as well but I didn't order anything. The big breakfast is very big and cheap too. For the price of RM11, i think really worth it. Should bring my brothers to try this next week as I'm going back for Kuching Food Festival.
Welcome home. Bet you have a blast with your family, trying new food court and going to the Kch fest.
Deleteeverything look so good here....i must be hungry!
ReplyDeleteThe kolo mee looks good.
