I went to Thompson Corner, Jalan Nanas for breakfast with my dad one morning.
It was a cold morning; hardly can felt any warm from the sun. So that morning, both of us wanted something warm for our tummies.
Dad went for the Claypot noodle. I used to love the claypot noodle here but each time, I would ended up burning my palate. Lol.
That morning, although it used to be my favourite dish, I didn't ordered that. I went for Foochow mee suah.
Love the mee suah as the soup was sourish from the wine. I did enjoyed my breakfast that morning with my dad.
And I bought home some yue tiaw for snack. The yue tiaw still taste the same.
Used to be very popular. Can't remember the last time I went there - I think I was staying at that hotel down the road. Don't think I ate anything as nothing seemed to appeal to me.
ReplyDeleteThat mee suah looks super good, Rose.
ReplyDeleteI love yue tiaws, hot off the wok, brushed with kaya and butter. Yum-yum.
I also almost always burnt my tongue with hot food so I don't like to order very hot food. Mee Sua would be my choice too.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very hearty breakfast. I don't handle hot food well and will be blowing at it before putting into my mouth. LOL!
ReplyDeleteI love Foochow mee suah too!
ReplyDeleteOh very interesting~ The food looks good~
ReplyDeleteGreat post

See the mee suah makes me feel like having it now...
ReplyDeleteHahahah...i like claypot noodles too, but always end up burning my palate, like u. Btw, I just had claypot loh shee fun for dinner last night...and yes, I did burn my palate again, despite asking for a separate small bowl to dish out small portions and cool them down. ;)
