One morning, I went to Xing Xing Food Court, Stapok for lunch takeaway. The kids specially requested for takeaway from the fried special stall.
One wanted fried mihun and another loves to eat fried kway tiaw. So I went to the food court around 10am that morning to avoid the crowd. However, the stall was having a busy morning as I need to wait for about 20 minutes for my order to be done.
This stall has many choices in the menu so there is so many to try out. I tried out some of its dishes and I have to say that I enjoyed them very much.
I ordered a pack of fried rice (RM5.50) for Jan as well as a pack for myself to be shared with Jamie.
Nicely fried and quite a portion. My kind of fried rice. Actually my favourite fried rice would be something like this. With prawns, sliced chicken, char siew, egg and some vegetables. And the rice must not be too wet or too dry. Just right and fluffy.
Jay has his usual, fried kway tiaw. The normal type (fried with eggs and bean sprouts only) at RM3.50. He prefer the salty type than the sweeter type so I must specially request for salty version for him. He could finish up the whole pack by himself!
I loves the fried rice, yummy...
