It was an unusual Sunday when I could woke up past 7am without the kids came into the room disturbing our sleep and making noises.
Guess everyone were tired from playing almost an-hour of water guns that afternoon.
After everyone was ready, we went for our breakfast before church service.
This Nanyang Food Court has been our regular lately. Some how the place easily come into our mind when thinking of where and what to eat on a Sunday morning. Less than a 10-minutes drive from our house.
I had my usual, Teh C to re-charge myself.
And here came our first dish to fill up our tummies while waiting for our kolo mee. RM5.00 for this prawns-filled chee cheong fun.
Love the chee cheong fun. The prawns in the chee cheong fun were fresh and chewy. With the sesame seeds, this dish was good enough to fill our hungry tummies.
The others have their kolo mee. I did not feel like eating noodle so I had kolo kuay tiaw instead. I enjoyed the kolo kuay tiaw. The kuay tiaw is the smaller type; smoother texture.
That was our breakfast to jump-start our Sunday morning.
Chee Cheong Fun is always one of my favourite foods...
ReplyDeleteLoves the kolo mee...
I went out for early breakfast today too at 7 am. I usually don't but I was hungry, tried pork noodles at the stall opposite my place.
ReplyDeleteI wish we had nice kolo mee here.
I like the chee cheong and kolo mee.. Good breakfast.. I only have bread and Milo every morning, huhuhuhu..
ReplyDeleteMmm yummy. I like the CCF with prawns and char siew
ReplyDeleteThe minced meat in the kolo mee so black one. Chee cheong fun looks good, very thin and translucent.
ReplyDeleteI wish we have kolo mee here. I love chee cheong fun with the sambal paste.
ReplyDeleteDidn't know that there is kolo kuey tiaw. Taste like kolo mee?
ReplyDeleteKolo mee, kolo kuay tiaw, kolo mihun. Taste the same but different texture of noodle.
Deleteone of my kids love the Sarawak kolo mee while the other prefers to have her mee with black soy sauce. I would opt for meehoon soup..so finding a place to have breakfast to please each one of us is a big task, haaaa.
