Baked potatoes, the flipping way

Continue from my previous post....

I do not have an oven over here so have to think of how to bake potatoes when I crave for them some days.  Glad that there is a flip pan at home, so I resort to using it to cook my potatoes.  Result?  It tasted as great and moist than oven-baked potatoes.

Ingredients:
5 Australian White Potatoes; cleaned and rinsed
Cheddar cheese slices
Butter
Italian herbs

Methods:
1. Pat dry the potatoes after washing. Using a kitchen knife, make a few cuts on the potatoes but do not cut off the potatoes.
2. Spread some butter onto the cuts.
3. Spread the potatoes on the flip pan with the butter cuts on the top, close the lid and cook for about 25 minutes over low-medium heat.  Flip twice.
4. Then open the flip pan lid; put the cheddar cheese slices on top of each potatoes.  Spread sparingly some Italian herbs on top of the cheese.
5. Close the lid and cook for about 5 minutes.  Flip after the 2nd minute.  The potatoes should be ready now!

  1. Ahhhh!!! The flip pan. My missus has one, dunno where she's kept it now. I think my girl said that the chicken tasted nicer when cooked in the oven...so the mum would not want to use the pan anymore... :(

    1. But i like roasted chicken cooked in flip pan as more moist. You should try bake potato instead in flip pan. Yummy.

    1. Usually i would slice potatoes into half so they cook faster. Just add some pepper and pepper, or mixed herbs, your potatoes tasted nice
