Dine out

One of hubby's fishing trip day. One of the Saturday.

Both of us woke up early, around 630am. We went to Y. Y. Cafe for breakfast. Yes, back to our favourite coffee shop.

My first dine out since MCO implemented in March. More than 2 months have passed and I finally took up the courage to have breakfast outside.

No one was there yet that morning so we were the first 2 customers of the day! After took our body temperature, cleaned our hands with hand sanitizer and jotted down our record, we seated on a table outside.

Our morning fix of tea. Teh O ice for my man while I had teh c.

The char chu stall was opened so we ordered our food from it. I went for fried mee hoon, which I missed after didn't have it for more than 2 months!! Tasted so good and satisfying!!

Hubby had Cantonese fried noodle. He loves the way they cooked it so much. Nice wok hei and tasty egg gravy all over the noodle. Both cost RM11.

For the kids, we bought kolo mee for them. RM3.50 per pack.

The kueh counter was opened too that morning. Hubby bought chai kueh (10 pieces for RM7) and I took the kuih seri muka and a piece of turnip cake to make it RM10 lump sum. Hubby took 8 pieces of chai kueh for his fishing trip while I had 2.

When we went home, the kids were still not yet up. They tend to get up late after been out of schools for months!!! Luckily for online classes and school works, otherwise they hardly touch their books at all. The schools are officially out for now till 9 June due to mid-term school holiday.

  1. Yes, so far, I only ate out once and it was because I was too early, the supermarket was not open yet. Nice to go early, nobody...so it would not be so worrying. I wouldn't want to go any place that is crowded.

  4. The food in Kuching is incredibly cheap. Ordered two meals for RM11 only but in KK, it will cost RM16 at least. And the kolo mee here costs RM7.
