Backlane

You would not know that you could find nice food at the backlane of shops till someone brings you there.

It was the case when my man brought me to this night hawker in Poh Kwong Park area one evening. Actually someone brought him over beforehand and then he brought me there another night.

This one hawker stall only opens at night, and it is located at the backlane carpark space of the old Poh Kwong Park shoplot.

A bowl of kueh chap for RM7. Tastewise it was flavourful. Not overwhelming but just alright for me.

The location of the stall for those who is unfamiliar with Poh Kwong Park.

Sorry that the photos were not that clear as it was rather dark for any good photography.

  1. I love the backlanes in Kuching, went looking for hidden treasures no need to stick to the well-known places, some are rather overrated, not all that nice. Kueh chap looks good!
