My man's special day falls on 12 November and this year, he took a day leave on his birthday. But he never like to fuss about his birthday. I thought it would be nice to treat him on something that he loves on his special day.
So, I treated him to a birthday breakfast in this newly opened shop, Kah Hiong Chu Chap in Tabuan Tranquility 3. Remember my first visit to this area?? The not-so-nice lunch over here.
So on my 2nd visit to this area, we went to Kah Hiong for a nice bowl of beef noodle. They have pork selection too but for my first time, I wanted to taste the beef noodle.
My birthday man's birthday breakfast consists of Ngau Chap soup with noodle (RM12.80). It had a lovely broth; not too thick to my liking with tendon, stripes and beef were well-cooked and tender. My man enjoyed it so much.
As for yours truly, I went for the beef slice noodle (RM9.80) being I don't take internal organs, least of a cow.
Ngau chap soup
They used radish to cook the broth so you could get few chunks of radish in your bowl. It was a huge portion and I hardly able to finish my noodle.

And not forgetting their special chilli dipping.
Open daily 7am -7pm.
I love Kah Hiong, the one in KK...so so so so good! And that killer cili padi dip is da'bomb!!!

ReplyDeleteA very belated birthday wish to John. I love beef noodles but I must make sure I am really hungry only I can eat it as I wont be able to share it with any of my boys as they (together with their father) do not eat beef.
