On Labour's Day after our morning exercise, we went for breakfast in Batu Kawa Megabite food court.
Each of us had noodles for breakfast but we ordered from three different noodle stalls.
Special RM5.00
I went for this kolo mee stall that operates near my place but on public holiday and Sunday they operates in this Megabite food court.
RM3.50 kolo mee
Jan and Jamie each had the normal kolo mee while I had its special kolo mee for RM5.
Kampua RM3.50
Jay on the other hand, wanted kampua that morning so I ordered this soy sauce kampua for him. Big portion but no problem for this noodle lover who finished it all by himself.
Mixed pork soup set RM10.00
My big man saw this Supreme Prince fish maw stall (at the back of the shop) that also serve mixed pork soup. He ordered a special set for himself. And wow, we both agreed that the soup was good. Fragrant with slight taste of wine and ginger. The noodle was not something that we usually seen or eat; very fine noodle. Something like Angel's hair. Hubby enjoyed his noodle and the soup very much.
So, that was our noodle breakfast that morning. Filling and good. What can we say? We can't do without noodles. ;)
Nice, my choice would be the mix pork, yummy.
ReplyDeleteI like the kolo mee best, both looks good to me!
ReplyDeleteThe special comes with fish balls, meat balls and wantons, I think I will like Kolo Mee from the look of it
ReplyDeleteI prefer noodles to rice anytime.
ReplyDeleteEyewwwwww!!!! The kampua mee swimming in the sauce like that, like wanton mee. Fail big time, liao! Give me the kolo mee - I'd rather have those, anytime. :D
ReplyDeleteI love noodles, mostly the dry style ones. But I also enjoy soupy noodles once in awhile.
ReplyDeleteIt looks delicious. Especially noodles.
ReplyDeleteI miss eating the Kolo Mee and Kampua Mee. Nowadays we do see some hawker stalls in KL which migrated from Sarawak as they claimed. Taste wise, is not so authentic.
ReplyDeleteI miss the kolo mee from one of the stall that I eat before and has close down...
ReplyDeleteTasty noodles...i think i will go for your choice too :)
ReplyDeleteThat mixed pork soup set looks so delicious. Kolo mee, kampua mee don't need to saylah - I suka!
