Show support

School is officially out for 2017!! See you next year!!

Last Friday, the kids' school was holding its first ever fund raising event in the hall.  Fund for new sports equipment.

So everyone chipped in by providing food and drinks and other stuff and buying coupons for the sale.

The hall was packed in no time with crowds came to show support to this event. We were going from one stall to another hunting for something to buy. Took us about 30 minutes to decide on what to buy.

And we bought these food home. For our lunch and afternoon tea time. We had laksa, vegetarian spaghetti, sushi, curry puff, fried snack and chocolate cake.

  2. I remembered last time during my Secondary School days, there is a Food Fair where the students will prepare food and sell in the canteen, the proceeds will go to the School Fund, I remembered we sold Ice Kachang, so much fun!

  4. We also went to the fund-raising food and fun fair at my girl's primary school the other day. Nothing much. At one time, such things were not allowed, no sale of raffle tickets, no walkathon but I guess now that the schools are not getting much money from the government, they have no choice but to come out with their own money. They are cutting costs in everything, so very poor now.

  9. Ooooh I love this kind of event. There's just something nostalgic about buying coupons and spending them. Cute frog there.
