Train to Paris

We pre-purchased RM700 Eurostar train from London to Paris with the travel agent when we booked our holiday. Yes, RM700 per person for 2 hours train ride.

After our English breakfast in the hotel, we departed for King's Cross St Pancras station for the Eurostar ride. Our departure time was 925am. We bought some snack and drinks from Mark & Spencer shop in station although Eurostar has bar onboard but very pricey.

We travelled at the speed of around 293km/hour. Mostly tunnels in London and then we passed the more than 70mtr under the sea level 50.45km long undersea tunnel to reach the land of France. Passing the greenery fields but mostly wheat field.

Soon enough with Paris time 1 hour earlier than London, we arrived in the famous Gare du Nord station (North station). Our summer holiday in Paris. And what a hot day. Around 40C, it was much hotter than in Malaysia!! I got lots of sun during this holiday!!
