What's going on

It is another Monday. Weekday could be pretty hectic for me.

And yes, Happy Leap Day, guys! How does it feel to have an extra day this month?? ^^

It rained this morning but I did went out to pay bill in post office and grocery shopping. And I had to pick up my hubby as he dropped his car for servicing. When it was almost 12, everything seemed to run fast. I were lazy to go out to buy lunch so I cooked a simple lunch today.

Made 2 rolls of Chinese spring rolls for lunch and dinner.

Jan has her extra-curriculum class in school so I packed her lunch and passed to her in school.

Laundry is a never ending task at home. I have been overwork my washing machine and dryer for the past months. What to do? I couldn't stand the laundry baskets piling up. Thankfully my girl helped me some day on folding and keeping them.

In the evening when everyone got together, it was nothing but cheekiness and noise. The kids happily posed for the camera with their new cloth masks my sis bought from Vietnam.

In between, I taught Jay his test. Life as a child is not so much fun now. Every week, you will have all the 3 languages dictation to learn. And as a mum, I also get stressed because of school! Sigh.

After dinner, we rested in front of tv and by 9pm, the schooling kids called it a night. And yours truly has some peaceful time to write a post and maybe catch on some tv or continue my book later before calling it a night.

  6. Hahahahaha!!!! Poor mums these days. They say kids having exams, they also have exams. I knew some who would set "trial exam" papers for the kids to do before the actual exams. Sighhhh!!!! No fun being kids these days either.

  10. You have a busy day and a fun evening with the kids trying out their cloth masks. The spring rolls look yummy. I don't mind folding clothes but I do not like ironing them.

  12. Nice! Are those spring rolls or loh bak? It looks like the latter instead of fried spring rolls. I like loh bak too but usually only eat it during CNY.
