While waiting for the time to Jay's Chinese story-telling the other morning, I made a stop in Koufu Food Court. Previously known as Expert Food Court in 4 1/2 Miles, I ordered its famous kolo mee from Ah Pi to share with Jamie.
Ah Pi's famous kolo mee has been featured in Jason Yeoh's Taste With Jason (Axian) last year in AFC channel.
RM3.50 signature family handmade kolo mee
Their handmade noodle is good and of nice texture. I love their kolo mee. It was flavourful.
RM4.50 stuffed toufu
Besides its kolo mee, Its Hakka stuffed toufu is a must try here too. Not overly seasoned and with a great soy bean broth, this side dish goes well with your kolo mee.
P.S. pardon the photos as I were facing the sun so that was why the yellowish and shadowy background.
Expert? There's one opposit Four Points, not the same one, I guess. Ahhhh...so long have not had the stuffed tofu, missus has not cooked for a long time. My girl loves those!
ReplyDeleteOoooo featured in Axian's programme? Then must try.. Looks good..
ReplyDeleteHaven't have a chance to try the famous kolo mee. Looks like I have to make a trip there to taste this authentic kolo mee. In spite of the sunlight, the food still look nice and delicious!
ReplyDeleteAlthough i have taken my lunch, the kolo mee still makes me hungry...
ReplyDeletethe taufo should be good.
ReplyDeleteStill can find kolo mee for RM3.50 ? such a cheaper meal no longer can be found in KK.
ReplyDeleteHaha, yellowish photos look ok also, a special kind of feel :p
ReplyDeleteOh, we've Koufu Food Court in SG too but I don't think they sell kolo mee. Seriously, I gotta try when I visit M'sia next time :D
ReplyDeleteYou ate under the sun? Not hot? I can't do that. I'll melt. Haha. Puteri Lilin me. How did Jay do on his Chinese story-telling? I bet he had a great experience.
ReplyDeleteKolo mee is one of the reasons I miss East Malaysia so much ..! The food looks extremely good, Rose.
ReplyDeleteThe Kolo mee looks good and nice to go with Hakka stuffed toufu too
ReplyDeleteHakka YTF is my favorite cos I grew up eating with it. My mom's specialty.
ReplyDeleteThe stuffed tofu looks very fat - must be filling.
