The elbow + sweet treat

Jay's elbow is recovering and noticed that the arm was not straight. He did not want to use the arm sling wrap so probably that is why the recovery is slow and his arm is bent. Read our story in hospital here.

He was supposed to go back to school today but he cried and begged me to bring him to hospital instead. Lol. So today I brought him back for follow up and requested the specialist to check on his elbow again as he was unable to bend it.

Can see the difference? Day 3 after the first re-aligment done on his elbow

The verdict? Confirmed the bone was dislocated again. The solution? A cast for his elbow. Read our 2nd visit to hospital here. We were discharged at around 315pm just now.

He got his 3rd arm sling. 1st was Tweety bird, 2nd was Doreamon and now, a Winnie The Pooh!

On Wednesday, I brought him and his sister to Anson for dinner. And the kids requested for a sundae so I obliged to their request. It was a warm evening so I guess it was fine to treat them to a chocolate sundae.

And as usual, Jay would always be the first to taste so the sister got to wait patiently for her turn. Both hardly could finish the sundae. My kids seldom eat ice cream or taking cold food or drink, so it takes them quite a long time to finish them. The chocolate sundae melt fast before I could helped myself to it!

For starter, we had the house salad with grilled chicken. I would prefer grated parmesan cheese rather than cheddar here. I quite like the Italian salad dressing they used. The sour, sweet vinaigrette dressing.

Next was my Buffalo wings. The chicken wings were deep fried yet they still have their juiciness and succulent texture with a hint of tabasco! A tantalizing spicy snack for me. The dipping was so so; taste just like tartar sauce to me. Nothing special about it.

As for the kids, they have their usual dish; the breaded fish with fries. At first, I thought of ordering their fish parmigiani for the kids but my girl was very particular about sauce on top of her fish so ended up just a plain breaded fish fillet.

Overall our dinner was RM29.40 plus drinks. No rice dinner but we still went home with full tummies! And the kids always love no-rice dinner once a while. A real treat for them.

  7. Jay is so smart to beg you to take him to the hospital instead of going to school. He knows something is still wrong with his arm. I guess he must be in pain as it is dislocated. Speedy recovery to him.
