The 2nd part of our holiday was to go to Cameron Highland. After all the funs in KL, now it was time for some relaxation and learning.
This was my first visit to Cameron Highland. We took taxi from our hotel to CH at 10am at fee of RM350.00. Thankfully it was not that jam along the way but both kids had a car sick moment and we had to stop for a short while for some fresh air before we proceed with our journey. Maybe they ate too much at the rest stop before we went up to the highland.
It rained when we reached our hotel, Century Pines Resort just after 2pm. A very nice resort and it is at a very strategic location as near to the taxi centre in Tanah Rata. And just walking distance to town and few food outlets and hawkers stalls.
A peek at our hotel room and view from the hotel balcony. No air-con in the room as we used the highlands' fresh cool air from outside. We slept with the balcony door opened. It was pretty cooling at night and plus with rain during the 2 afternoons while we were there, so the temperature was low.

Beautiful view while sun was setting
Love the bathroom because of the layout. They seperate it into 3 sections; ie long bath tub, shower room and toilet
A classic-looking basin with seperate hot and cold water faucets
And what I like the most? They have hair dryer with blowing head for curls. Yes!
I missed the cooling temperature of CH! Once back to Sibu, how I wish it was as cooling as in CH! Lol!
Ooooo...I love Cameron! A friend took me there on a one day trip. Must go again. So a taxi is only RM350, eh? Good good... Thanks for the info. Must go there one of these days.
ReplyDeleteLet me know when you're going again. My family & I will tag along. More fun if going in a big group, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteOohh, I got car-sick too on the way up the highland.. Haha.. Yep, don't eat too full before the ride up..
ReplyDeleteNice settings in the hotel... I have been to the lobby only.. to walk around.. yes, convenient, walking distance to the main road.. I stayed in Heritage and Equatorial last time..
ReplyDeleteOh such a lovely place for getaway. I never been to CH. Perhaps one day. :)
ReplyDeleteThe taxi price is very reasonable. I thought it would be more expensive. The weather is so hot here so it is a good idea to go to CH for the cool air. Did you visit the rose garden, cactus farm, pick strawberry and vegetables?
ReplyDeleteI too get car sick when I travel up CH in a coach...and I vomit... so next time I am smarter, I take medicine for giddiness and car sickness before I travel
ReplyDeleteI stayed in Equatorial when I went CH last year March.
ReplyDeleteI like picture 6, looks very elegant, cosy and comfortable
ReplyDeletevery long didn't go CH liao...
ReplyDeleteWah you are very efficient and hardworking in blogging your holiday trip!
ReplyDeleteSo you love CH ya? Hehe, me too! Actually nowadays CH is not as cooling as last time already, consider hot already.. I think it's due to global warming!
I haven't been there for ages; hope to revisit someday. Wow, I'm in love with the hair dryer too! Hahaha!
ReplyDeleteI was there more than 10 years ago, love the place but not sure if I want to go again or not, cannot tahan mabuk jalan :(
ReplyDeleteIt's still cooling up there? I heard from many friends that it is no longer cold. But then again I havent been there myself for quite some time so I should believe you :)
ReplyDeleteI miss Ch . Hope to go back there someday.
ReplyDeleteyes, CH is a nice place to relax and explore.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind retiring in CH. It's cool and peaceful. Nice post on the hotel, Rose and great to hear you had a good holiday ;)
ReplyDeleteThe view from the balcony is very nice.
