Another hair chat


After a week of perming my hair, I went back to the salon to highlight it last weekend.  The curls have soften a bit and my hair is not so overly voluminous after few shampooing. 

And what do you think??  I am happy with the highlight result.  Add colour to my black hair and yet emphasizing on the curls. Just less than 2 hours sitting in the salon to get this result!

If you ask me to colour my hair, I would go for highlight than dyeing the whole head.  One thing about highlighting is that it still maintain your hair base without damaging it, and highlight is much cheaper than dye since it only colour few % of your hair!! And hair colouring requires regular touch up where as highlight does not necessarily need to. 
What about you??  Highlight or whole head colouring??

    Definitely whole head colouring for me coz my white hair is growing fast !! Touch-up and whole head colouring price difference is not very huge, so may as well sekali whole head coluring..

    very nice. I ask a salon before, they told me that hilight is more expensive than color. Looks like I was being cheated.

    I never highlight and dye my hair before. But I might need it soon because I can see white hair coming out.

    I always envy those ladies with highlight in brown colour but my dark black hair is unable to absorb the highlight color tried a few times but failed

    I love highlights too but it has been ages since I last coloured or highlight my hair. I am not a fan of curls though. Always doing rebonding annually to get silky straight hair :D

    I used to colour my hair, but my friend tell me colouring will makes the hair white faster, so now, i did not do any colouring liao...

    Today I did some touchups only... my girl did it for me... I normally dye my grey hair only.. but I see that highlighting can be very nice too if done properly...

    Ya, glad to know that you are happy with your hair highlight. I don't do highlight or dye my hair. I leave it the way it is, black hair with many strands of white hair.
