Snack up

Munching on this to go along with my cup of tea.  Bought few packets in Kuching last November and still left 1 big packet and before it is expiring, I better do something with it. And it means, I have excuses to eat it!  Lol!

This rice cracker is famous Kuching's produce and I enjoyed the rice cracker made from brown rice.  But some day I do not mind those rice crackers with groundnuts.  I do not eat a lot, usually 2 - 3 sticks at a time.  Most of the times, I would share with my boy since he loves sweet stuff.  And that is the result of letting him holding to the snack and he eats first.  Come back to me in pieces and crumps instead of nice rectangular shape.  *wink*

But I still love to munch on pumpkin seeds. I can munch a lot of this snack while watching tv.

Got to start cooking dinner soon. After that I will take a quick bath and go out to pick my 2 older kids from tuition and Jamie from baby sitter.

I have put Jay in tuition with the sister.  The tuition teacher is kind enough to help me teach Jay in his K1 study as I am running out of ideas to teach him myself.  He never listen to me.  I guess most mothers have the same problem when it comes to teaching their kids at home.  So far he is happy to go along and do some school works there.  He started on Monday afternoon and today is the 2nd time he goes there. At least he gets to finish his school works there instead of playing toys at home.  And I get to have a 2 hours peaceful moment in the afternoon too*wink*

The kids finish at 5pm and after that we will go to pick Jamie in Bukit Assek area. Hope the water in that area has subsided as for few days the water has overflown to the road and causing a mini pool there.  If you are caught in this road in Jalan Bukit Assek, you got to slow down and drive carefully.  Do you know know where is the road and where is the drain???

  4. Really dangerous as cannot see where the drain is under the water. Good that both your son and you share a liking for the same snacks.

  6. Drainage is poor at some parts - like on the way to Giant...or the bypass from the airport road to Farley. Lots of construction going on - shops, shops and more shops and they never bother about the drains in the meantime - the water cannot flow out.

I wonder why they are building sooooooo many shops all over town when the economy is bad? Nobody will rent or buy - so you see the completed ones - ALL empty! Maybe times are bad so it is better to build now before the prices of things go up...and they keep - will be worth a whole lot more when the economy improves. Better than saving in the bank!
