I were so full from my breakfast that I skipped lunch on Saturday. Why not? I had a hearty breakfast and ate a lot.
We always fond of the food at Cafe-Cafe, so if there is any chance we are at the city, we will patronise this cafe. I have been eating 2 days in the row here. So you guess how much I love to eat here. Of course, at the comfort of air-con ambience *wink*
Last Friday I brought my MIL there for breakfast before sending her and Jay to wharf. We had some kompia and pancakes.
On Saturday morning, I went there again with my hubby and daughter. Again we had wet kompia with pork belly and pancakes with golden syrup. My daughter alone ate 2 pieces of the pancakes.
Hubby as usual had its Ba Zhen Pork Leg Mee Sua. He loves its strong, fragrant soup.
Our yummy 5-spices pork belly filling kompia
My kids' favourite - pancakes
I tried something different this time. Its Sizzling Cantonese Yee Mee. Not bad taste. They are very generous with the portion. A lot of veggies, meats and prawns. The gravy is alright but a little peppery for me. Nevertheless I finished it in the end.
That sizzling pan mee also taste good wor.
ReplyDelete"yee mee" sorry yeah.
ReplyDeletePak Zhan soup is my fav during confinement time.
I like the food there, people very nice too...I prefer to sit outside as inside, it can get very noisy if there is a crowd. Parking is a hassle...and it is not exactly cheap so I do not go often.
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy food served on hot plates. Shiok!
ReplyDeleteWah, new template huh? Not bad!
