The rice crackers (bee pang) from Padungan, sio pau from Hong Kong Puff Co, and salted terubok and eggs from Satok. They caused me to pay extra for surcharges of exceeding mycheck-in luggage weight in airport!

Fresh salted fish
You're back in Sibu?
ReplyDeleteYes. Back last night
DeleteI've yet to visit Kuching. Anything interesting there?
ReplyDeleteKuching is famous for its food and cleanliness. Must try our Sarawak Laksa, kolok mee, kuah chap, tomato kuaw tiaw/crispy noodle, and vegetables such as midin. Visit our beaches such as Damai and have a walk at Kuching Waterfront.
DeleteThanks for the sio pao & the kacang ma. I've tried - very very nice, those sio pao - like the Seremban ones but a whole lot nicer - but the Kai Joo Lane ones are still my No.1 in the world!
ReplyDeleteI just bought the ikan masin terubok here for my friends from West Malaysia that day - RM10 each. I guess prices vary according to the size. I bought one for myself - yet to cook and try...will blog about it when I get down to it.
If Sibu has ikan masin terubok then next time I ask my husband buy from here. Haha.
DeleteIt's been a while I haven't eat Telur ikan Terubok.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back.. =)
How much surcharge do you have to pay?
