Another family day instead....

Just finished meeting with my new boss! Phew! A lot of reports and updates for him after his first meeting in the company. And some more meeting with him at the end of the day!

Just to distress myself, I decided to go to what I love to do at the moment, i.e. munching something and blogging away! Yes, I am having some pineapple rolls (I brought some leftover from home) and doing this posting!

Want to share with you what I have last night after back from work. You know what day was yesterday right? Darling hubby called me up right before 5pm, asking me where to have dinner. Btw, I bought him a Burberry Brit for Men perfume for Valentine’s Day, which he liked it very much. Since he didn’t get me anything and I requested no flowers, so he decided to treat me to a Western dinner instead.

Sigh! All men are like that! When we women said no present, why they cant surprised us once a while and do something out of the box?? You get what I mean? Ok, I am not complaining that I didn’t received any Valentine’s Day present this year, but if there is any, I wouldn’t mind receive it right? Hahaha! Anyway, I enjoyed my Valentine’s Day dinner and were happy to share it with my little gal.

I suggested Sidewalk CafĂ© at Green Heights area since it has been few months we didn’t go there. We love to go there for dinner as it is nearer to our house and prices are affordable with nice food and cozy ambiance.

So, we went together to Sidewalk in his car and reached there around 6.30pm. Well, we were not the early birds, as few tables have been occupied by patrons. Not couples, but families and friends enjoying their food there too! So, you see, everyone is celebrating Valentine’s Day, it is not only meant for singles or married couples that are in love!

Sidewalk offering 4 course-meal for the Valentine’s Day dinner, i.e. mushroom soup, Ceasar salad (it did looked pitiful and doesn’t look like Ceasar salad to me, a spoiler to our dinner), main course and dessert of ice cream cake. Hubby had its sirloin steak where as I had its linguini with grilled chicken. The dinner only cost us RM100.20, which I think is not throat-cutting affair to us!

It is more like a family day with little gal tagging along! We couldn’t possibly left her behind and me and hubby enjoying ourselves right!? She was enjoying herself, playing with the love-shaped balloon given out by Sidewalk management. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner under the moon (half shaped) last night. Sigh! (A happy and self-satisfactory sigh!)

  5. To go out for a valentine meal is not cheap here in the UK. Those companies and restaurants see it as a way to grab people's money. So I was happy when my husband said he would cook me a meal instead of buying me a gift or taking me out for a dinner that night. In fact, I like it more! :)
