Miscellaneous Picture #45 : September favourites

Hazy September in white blanket

Durian flowers were in season

My youngest Virgo boy was turning 2 in September

Celebrated Mid-Autumn with mooncakes, lanterns and...

...flying up a sky lantern. Think this would be our first and last time flying this lantern as it was prohibited to do so.

  1. Rose, the haze over here is getting from bad to worse. I have not seen durian flowers before. Do they have any sweet fragrance?

  6. Good! Good! Don't play with those lanterns, a hazard to aircrafts...and the rampant littering. Really bad! Hmmmm....my favourite pic would be the one...with the durian flowers. Sorry, boy...you're No.2 . Hehehehehe!!!!!

  7. When I was a kid, I look forward 2 things: playing lantern with real candle in the middle, and also "chu long peang" (pig cage biscuits - direct translation).. But this year, didn't manage to get any lanterns for the boys, huhuhu..

  9. It's a good thing they disallow to fly that sky lantern next year. I am not in favour of it too as they can make such a mess.

    Haze, haze go away.
