We had a good weekend over here. There was occasional rains to cool down the temperature. Sunday was much nicer and cooler after the big thunderstorm on Saturday evening.
Few days before the weekend, there was something wrong with the air con in my room; made my room like a sauna room! Since then we have moved over to the boys' room while waiting for the air con to be fixed which they did eventually on Saturday afternoon. By then, we decided to snuggle in the boys' room for one more night. ^^

I love the sleep in with the boys these few nights. We got to chat, argue, tell stories, play pretend and pray. I am kind of missing Jamie in my room since he moved in with his brother. Actually I am missing both boys in our bedroom. Jay officially moved out from our room this April while Jamie started last month.
Now both stay in their room more, snuggling, grizzling and messing around. I don't know how I handle their brotherly dispute but most of the time, I let the boys settle themselves rather than getting myself involve.
I know. I am being whimsical here but I am slowly accepting the fact that my boys have all grown up!

My boy still sleeps with us. Huhu..i remember when i was still a boy, fighting with my brothers was common. However, my 2nd brother was a bit violent. He once pointed scissors to my face. Huhu
ReplyDeleteIt is good to let them settle the minor dispute. For the more serious ones, mom or dad has to come into the picture. As they grow more mature, they will need more space of their own.
ReplyDeleteI remember as a teenager, whenever my dad has to go outstation, me and my brother would sleep with my mum. It was really fun hee..hee...
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing like a good snuggle.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy these moments as the kids are growing up really quickly. It was like just yesterday you welcomed Jamie into this world yet now he is already sleeping in his own room. Time flies..
ReplyDeleteI remember last time when I share my room with my sisters, we would chit chat and exchange jokes before we fall asleep, how fun!
ReplyDeleteBoys will be boys! My mum had two too...and her rotan did not help one bit, no effect. LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet post.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a warm post and it makes me miss my late mother! I loved to sleep beside her as a kid and even sneaked to take naps with her when I was already a big teenager!
ReplyDeleteI always fought with my older brother and he often strangled me till I choked. I often pretended to die and that made my older scream her lungs out to stop him with a broom stick on his head!! Muahahahaha
Who sleeps on the upper bunk bed? It is fun to sleep on the upper bunk bed. Bonding time with your sons.
ReplyDeleteJamie on top. He is lighter, so let him go up there.
DeleteAww... this is such a sweet read. I can just imagine how your boys will feel reading your blog when they're older xx
