Weekend was nothing extraordinary. Hubby was back from travelling on Saturday afternoon. That evening we went for hubby's cousin's baby full moon dinner. Very Foochow-style with red wine chicken mee sua and red coloured eggs.
Sunday we stayed the whole morning in my sil's shop. We went for a jog in the evening.
On Monday we went for our grocery shopping. Some of the yummy goodies we managed to squeeze through hubby's shopping cart were these delicious butter cookies..
These cookies were one of my favourite childhood snacks. Which one do you pick first? I would pick the plain round butter cookies first before go for the square-shaped cookies. The sugar-coated would be the last for me to dig in.
Saw this brand from Denmark and we never try it before so bought 3 cans to try. Hope it is as good as the other Denmark brand.
Oh yes! Ice cream for the hot weather. We tried this chocolate brownies from Magnum. Sweet but I would prefer the classic Magnum ice cream more.
That was what I had while taking a break from these 3 monkeys. Asked the big sister to look after them and guess what they did while I were trying to enjoy my ice cream downstair? Messing and jumping in the room.
The big brother was been grounded for stealing ice cream from the freezer. He knew how to get a chair, tear open the Magnum ice cream box and eat it quietly till the daddy spotted him. Jay was sneezing (and still do) but he did not listen to us and still steal a stick. So he has been spanked and grounded in the room! ^^
And another punishment was to open his own-made piggy bank and count his saving! He told me he was saving for Legoland! Believe it or not, he has saved more than RM300! Need to bank in for him one of these days.
Jamie also get close and personal with these coconuts, given by my bil. I love coconut juice! Great thirst quencher on a warm day!
We also bought some DVD so caught a couple of movies that afternoon.
How was your long weekend?? Hope you have a fabulous one.
